There is no place like home

Dorothy was right.

It’s been 2 weeks since my business trip, and I’ve been savoring it all. Honestly, I can’t wait until my next trip — whether for business or pleasure, domestic or international — but it’s good to have family, friends, and boyfriend to come home to. All of my experiences living in different cities and towns since college has taught me that home is not a place but it is found in the people that you love and who love you. And although I really think that I wouldn’t have chosen to settle back down in L.A. if not for my family and friends as there are a number of cities where I’d choose to live over L.A. (including Berkeley, San Francisco, Washington D.C.), THIS IS HOME — and I LOVE IT HERE!

I just wish this June gloom weather would go away so I could enjoy it even more fully!

[Ok, enough of the sentimental posts for now. Next up will be a recap on the Mud Run from last week! Yeah, I’m a little behind in my posts, but it’s been tough settling back into a routine after being away for 2 weeks!]
